You can buy your group ticket easily and conveniently online and place your reservation at the same time via SBB. Please note that you need a SwissPass login to make online reservations via SBB.
SBB has limited reservation capacity for each of its transport partners. If it is not possible to reserve online via SBB due to lack of capacity, please contact PostBus Customer Service using the online form.
Please note that a reservation does not guarantee you will have a seat. There is always a mixture of seats and standing places on Postbuses.
Groups of 10 people or more must be registered in advance. Registration is required in good time to ensure we can reserve enough spaces on the Postbus.
Please note that there are also routes where reservations are required for groups of at least five or seven people. For this reason, you should consult the online timetable before you travel.
Register your group as early as possible, but no later than:
- Monday to Sunday: by 3 p.m. two working days before departure
- For the following week: by 12 noon on Friday
Please keep to your reserved times on your day of travel, as we will schedule additional vehicles if necessary. You should arrive a few minutes before your departure time. If you are travelling by more than one type of transport, make sure you plan enough time for any changes. Check the online timetable at www.sbb.ch before your departure to see if there are any travel disruptions.
For journeys with PostBus, you need a group ticket in addition to your group reservation. You can purchase this in advance from a staffed public transport point of sale upon presentation of your reservation confirmation.
If you want to place your reservation and purchase your group ticket easily and conveniently online, you can use SBB’s online form. Please note that you need a SwissPass login to make online reservations via SBB.
